Young Peoples Coach
This role focuses on providing coaching to young people within the Advantage Thinking framework. The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing the Education First Youth Foyer model, working closely with students to develop individualized learning plans that promote independence and self-sufficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of housing systems, educational pathways, and multi-disciplinary issues affecting vulnerable individuals or at-risk populations. They must also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative, problem-solving abilities, resilience, and proficiency in writing, time management, and computer literacy.
A key aspect of this role is building relationships with stakeholders, maintaining accurate case notes, and providing timely reports and information as required. The successful applicant must hold a Social Work degree or equivalent qualification, and/or demonstrate relevant experience. Additionally, they must undergo a satisfactory National Police Check and Anglicare assessed medical examination, and hold a current Australian Driver Licence.
