About the role:Reporting to the Kitchen & Trade Partner Manager, this full-time permanent position\'s primary objective is to build a portfolio of customers in the Kitchen Designer, Custom Joinery and A & D space, to generate sales at a retail level. You will provide a high level of customer service whilst driving referrals into our Hobart store. Hunting for new business and building & maintaining client relationships are key components of the role, your previous Business Development Management experience will drive your success.
Key responsibilities:- Business Development - Identify and implement new business opportunities
- Client relationship management - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the Kitchen Designer, Custom Joinery & A & D space
- Collaboration with customers to meet their evolving needs. This involves stocktake management, ongoing sales training and tracking customer referrals into e&s
- Strategic Planning & Market Analysis - Keep up to date with market knowledge & partner with suppliers for training events
- A verifiable track record in a product-based B2B or B2C business development role involving developing new and existing customer relationships to achieve established revenue targets.
- A focus on and interest in architecture and design
- Experience within Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry appliances, or a design-led adjacent industry
- Experience in collaborating closely with internal and external partners
- A customer-focussed mindset where the customer is at the heart of all decisions and actions, delivering exceptional and distinctive customer experiences
- A powerful implementer with expertise in organisation, time management and attention to detail.
