Clinical Team LeaderJob Overview:

The Clinical Team Leader is responsible for leading a clinical team of speech pathologists to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads and supports the clinical team in providing evidence-based clinical services.
  • Conducts assessments and provides therapy to clients in the clinic or via telehealth.
  • Manages client onboarding, including documentation and communication with stakeholders.
  • Attends weekly team meetings to discuss client cases and engage in professional development.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders and external health professionals to ensure high-quality care.
  • Visits clients in the community to provide services as needed.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a certified practising speech pathologist.
  • SPA membership and current working with children check.
  • National police check and eligibility for medicare provider status.
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and seek clinical guidance as needed for safe and quality practice.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with the NDIS.
  • Experience in supervising junior staff and/or students.
  • Experience or interest in working with multidisciplinary teams.
