We are seeking a motivated and caring Casual Chef to join our team in Glen Waverley. The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic environment with a focus on delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
Roster and AvailabilityThe Casual Chef will work on Saturdays and Sundays, providing meal services to our residents. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities and Tasks- Preparing and presenting appetizing meals for our residents
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
- Supporting bulk cooking operations and preparing texture modified foods
- Providing fast and effective service with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in a similar role or trade qualification in Commercial Cookery
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Exceptional presentation and attention to detail
- Adherence to food and general safety practices
