Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Support Worker at Eminence Care, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing one-on-one in-home support to clients with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and transport assistance
- Supporting community participation, social activities, and outings
- Assisting with domestic tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Encouraging independence and self-confidence through tailored support programs
- Reporting and recording client information in line with NDIS requirements
- Supporting clients with hoist transfers and manual handling as required
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge and awareness of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Experience with behaviour management, hygiene care, hoist/manual handling, and community engagement
- A warm, caring nature and a genuine interest in helping others
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A client-focused, safety-first approach with attention to confidentiality and professionalism
- A minimum of 6 months experience in disability or aged care support work
- Certificate III in aged care, disability support, or community services is preferred
- Current national police check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Enjoyment in social activities and cooking
- Experience in assisting individuals with physical limitations
- Positive, proactive attitude and emotional resilience
