Job Summary:
A 6-month contract role is available for a skilled Payroll Accountant to support payroll accounting and related financial operations.
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a contract Payroll Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll-related general ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing and processing intercompany journals, ensuring timely and compliant payroll tax and superannuation payments, overseeing vendor payments related to payroll activities, supporting period-end processes and reporting, and helping streamline payroll-related processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage payroll-related general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and process intercompany journals
- Ensure timely and compliant payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Oversee vendor payments related to payroll activities
- Support period-end processes and reporting
- Help streamline payroll-related processes and documentation
The ideal candidate will have solid payroll accounting experience, confidence working with high-volume data and multiple systems, an understanding of superannuation, payroll tax and intercompany accounting, experience in FMCG, large corporate, or fast-paced environments, a collaborative approach and strong attention to detail.
