Role summary
A contract opportunity within the finance function focused on payroll accounting and related financial operations. This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys working in a complex, fast-paced environment.
About the role
- Managing payroll-related general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Preparing and processing intercompany journals
- Ensuring timely and compliant payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Overseeing vendor payments related to payroll activities
- Supporting period-end processes and reporting
- Helping streamline payroll-related processes and documentation
- Solid payroll accounting experience — from GLs to tax and compliance
- Confidence working with high-volume data and multiple systems
- An understanding of superannuation, payroll tax and intercompany accounting
- Experience in FMCG, large corporate, or fast-paced environments
- A collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
- 6-month role
- Work with an experienced, friendly, and collaborative finance team
