About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our desktop systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and configure laptops according to standard specifications
  • Troubleshoot application and OS issues faced by employees
  • Take actions as advised by the Manager related to IT policies
  • Update antivirus and Windows patches
  • Communicate with employees regarding service requests and laptop allocation
  • Allocate and deallocate assets in the CMDB
  • Ensure all laptops and desktops are working properly
  • Respond to service issues in a timely manner
  • Provide technical support across the company
  • Inventory management of all IT assets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications preferred
  • ITIL V3 Foundation certification or equivalent experience
  • Approximately 3 years of experience working in IT support operations with a multi-platform environment
  • Experience with contact center support and troubleshooting of multi-platform devices
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, and DNS, DHCP services
  • Ability to operate well in a team environment and handle stress and critical situations
