Air Freight Export Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Air Freight Export Operations team in Brisbane. As an Air Freight Export Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and completing the administration of the Airfreight Import and Airfreight Export forwarding process according to defined procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Managing processes, handling and distributing all required documentation in the Airfreight Import forwarding process.
- Ensuring customer requirements are met and all required documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Accountabilities include invoicing of externally cleared shipments, interrogating Customs status using ICS, and completing corrections to rating errors and AWB's.
- Providing support and backup to colleagues, as well as handling general enquiries and monitoring and arranging retrieval of cold chain shipments from airlines.
- General knowledge of Freight Forwarding, AFR or OFR operational experience (advantageous).
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changes daily due to customer requests.
- High degree of reliability and attention to detail, with a positive can-do attitude and ability to work as a team player.
