Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Consultant to join our Property Claims team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be a great first point of contact for customers calling to enquire about their property claims.
The diverse and interesting role will see the individual utilise their customer service and relationship building skills to ensure customer satisfaction is a priority. They will work collaboratively with internal and external parties to coordinate claim resolution and maintain concise records throughout the resolution process.
Key Responsibilities
- Helping customers recover by delivering on the customer promise at claim time
- Responding to high volumes of calls from customers and suppliers
- Managing a portfolio of claims in a professional and proactive manner
- Liaising with customers, internal and external parties to coordinate claim resolution
- Maintaining concise records throughout the resolution process
Requirements
- Strong customer service experience
- A positive and flexible attitude and manner
- Demonstrated ability to show empathy towards customers
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to problem solve effectively
