Your Opportunity

We are a non-profit healthcare provider supporting people to live their lives well. We offer evidence-based services across Australia, specialising in mental health, alcohol and other drug use, and dependency.

We are seeking an Advisor to provide practical advice and support across the employee lifecycle. This role will help build capability across the organisation and contribute to a positive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely HR advice across the employee lifecycle
  • Support and coordinate onboarding with contract creation and data processing
  • Coordinate student placements with onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate records and manage personnel administration
  • Report and analyse using data-driven insights
  • Assist with recruitment, including writing job ads and supporting hiring managers
  • Support performance management and compliance with employment legislation as required
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in the not-for-profit, health or community sectors
  • Solid understanding of general HR practices and employment legislation
  • Experience in recruitment, assessment and selection best practices
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and administrative functions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to self-manage your own workload and juggle multiple priorities
