Australia Piacentini & Son Full time

An HR Advisor with Mine Site experience is required by Piacentini & Son for a DIDO position based at Cataby, Midwest WA. This full-time permanent position is offered on a 4:3 roster (12-hour days). On-site accommodation and all meals provided.

Piacentini & Son is a Mining and Earthmoving Contractor specialising in bulk earthworks, rehabilitation services, dry hire equipment, sales, heavy haulage transportation, mining and earthmoving services.

The HR Advisor will support one of our larger projects based in the Midwest region, based 2 hours north of the Perth metro area. This is a key front-line role which reports directly to the General Manager of People & Culture and HR team based in Picton.

Key aspects of the role include:

- Relevant Human Resources Generalist responsibilities - you will be the sole HR professional on site reporting to HR Management offsite.
- Relaying information and advice to site in relation to the operations of the Enterprise Agreement and the Modern Award
- Employee Relations - responsible for ER related matters including case management, end to end investigations, performance management, complaints and grievances, resolution of workplace & disciplinary issues
- Key Stakeholder Engagement - provide advice to Line management on employee performance and disciplinary matters

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

- You will have experience working in a similar role. Background in mining, resources or earthmoving operations would be seen as advantageous
- Proven career history within an HR / IR / ER role
- Relevant Human Resources qualifications
- Deep understanding of applicable employment laws and experience managing complex industrial and employee relations situations
- Excellent communications skills, both orally and in writing
