Logistics Export Specialist

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our team in a dynamic and growing export environment.

This role involves preparing and reviewing shipping documents, ensuring compliance with import export regulations, and managing licenses and permits.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication negotiation skills, organizational problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software including logistics management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Documentation and Compliance: Preparing and reviewing shipping documents, ensuring compliance with import export regulations, and managing licenses and permits.
  • Logistics and Shipping: Coordinating with freight forwarders carriers customs brokers to arrange shipments track progress and ensure timely delivery.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining communication with international clients addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues related to shipments.
  • Negotiation and Cost Management: Negotiating freight rates and other costs associated with export operations and potentially identifying opportunities to optimize costs.

Skills and qualifications required include knowledge of export regulations excellent communication negotiation skills organizational problem-solving skills attention to detail and proficiency in relevant software.

In this role you will be working in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
