Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing events, managing brand communications, creating engaging content, and supporting the development of marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning & Execution:
  • Support the planning and coordination of events including professional development days, roadshows, webinars, and networking events.
  • Prepare and manage event documentation: run sheets, sponsorship packs, invitations, and post-event comms.
  • Assist with venue bookings, AV, catering, speaker coordination, and partner liaison.
  • Manage event registrations using platforms like Eventbrite, and support follow-ups.
  • Brand Communications & PR:
  • Help draft media releases, award submissions, and broker-facing communications.
  • Liaise with industry media and partners for co-branded content, interviews, and features.
  • Maintain and update company profiles on award platforms and media databases.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation across all comms.
  • Content & Social Support:
  • Support the creation and scheduling of social media content related to events, PR milestones, and campaigns.
  • Assist in managing the content calendar for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and RedNote (Chinese platform).
  • Work with the design and digital team to prepare visual assets and content for events and announcements.
  • General Marketing Support:
  • Help maintain campaign timelines, internal marketing trackers, and calendars.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to execute brand-building activities and broker engagement strategies.
  • Assist with onboarding and sales enablement resources where needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-3 years' experience in marketing, events, PR, or communications (preferably in financial services or professional industries).
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing event logistics end-to-end.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with platforms such as Canva, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite.
