Job Role: Airfield Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Airfield Planning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and design of new airfield facilities, conducting detailed data analysis, and facilitating high-quality planning studies by external consultants.

The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to gather planning inputs and ensure initiatives align with safety, risk, and environmental requirements. The specialist will also contribute to the review of innovative technologies and trends for airport development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planning and Design: Oversee the planning and design of new airfield facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Data Analysis: Conduct detailed data analysis to inform planning decisions and facilitate high-quality planning studies.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders to gather planning inputs and ensure initiatives align with safety, risk, and environmental requirements.
  4. Tech Review: Contribute to the review of innovative technologies and trends for airport development.
  5. Project Coordination: Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless project execution and address any issues that may arise during the planning and implementation phases.
About You:
  1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in airport planning at major airports or aviation planning consultancies, with a focus on aprons and airfields.
  2. Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Airport Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to analyze data effectively. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  4. CAD Proficiency: Proficient in CAD or similar drawing packages.
  5. Team Player: A team player who can work effectively with peers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to achieve planning and design objectives.
