The Incident Management Specialist plays a vital role in the end-to-end management of incidents. This critical position is responsible for providing guidance and support to stakeholders in assessing the nature and impact of incidents.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial investigations with incident owners, gathering information to assess the nature and impact of incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process or control improvements where applicable.
- Assist in identifying and developing sustainable solutions to prevent future incidents.
- Monitor incidents proactively, ensuring they are managed effectively and all key activities are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Maintain the integrity of incident and breach reporting data to support accurate reporting and generate insights that improve decision-making.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in operations, Risk or Compliance, preferably in financial services.
- Superannuation experience highly advantageous.
- Experience in incident, breach and/or fraud management highly desirable, including use of GRC technologies.
- Working knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks, including incident and breach management.
- Strong understanding of controls management practices, including root cause analysis.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a structured approach to solving problems.
- Strong written and oral communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas to a range of audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
