About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Retail Sales team as a National Account Manager - Woolworths. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing key strategies to deliver sustainable, profitable growth for McCain Foods across Woolworths Supermarkets and Online accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive customer strategic plan in conjunction with the category and marketing teams to achieve annual operating commitments.
  • Manage trade investment at or below AOC targets to optimize return on investment within agreed parameters.
  • Execute promotional programs to meet standards and investment parameters, ensuring optimal return on investment.
  • Align internally on promotions, pricing, and activation to consider the impact on other customers and total retail P&L.
  • Build meaningful, bespoke Joint Business Plans that align customer and McCain to a shared operating plan, focusing on delivery of internal KPIs.
  • Position McCain as a category partner of choice by collaborating with category development and marketing to leverage insights, occasion-based growth drivers, and market activation initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of commercial experience.
  • Ideal qualifications include a degree in a relevant field, such as Business or Marketing.
  • Experience in customer management to achieve specific business results, particularly within FMCG businesses.
  • Solid communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with key stakeholders, particularly at buyer level.
  • Numerical and reporting accuracy, with attention to detail and experience with forecasting and project management.
  • Ability to analyze business to highlight key result areas and develop improvement plans.
