Business Development Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to maximise bid win rates for opportunities in our ANZ focussed Business Units.

This role will drive business growth through the professionalisation and governance of the capture and bid phases of our Lifecycle Management (LCM) Framework, establishing a position to win and driving to closure through to contract award.

  • Capture Management: Provide Subject Matter Expertise to ensure the capture process is optimised for Business Winning.
  • Bid and Proposal Process: Work with internal teams on all aspects of high strategic value and complex captures, developing and implementing successful capture/bid win strategies, managing all stakeholders, and ensuring alignment of the needs of the client and our value proposition.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capture experience, strong knowledge of bidding best practices, and expertise in business winning strategies.

Essential requirements include:

  • Demonstrated experience in bid and proposal management, including winning new, repeat, or follow-on business through leading and delivering winning bids.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in business winning strategies.
  • Experienced people leader with strong influencing and negotiating skills that can be applied to senior stakeholders within our organisation, capture teams, and industry partners.
