Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our expanding delivery team.

The successful candidate will work closely with our sales, operations, and product development teams to ensure seamless customer support from initial contact through to post-sales maintenance and upgrades.

  • Collaborate with the sales team on technical engagement with customers, reviewing system architectures and quotations for accuracy
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for accounts from ordering through to installation, maintenance, and ongoing support
  • Plan and manage installations of complex systems comprising multiple products
  • Engage with customers to receive and document technical feedback
  • Support new product development projects by acting as the voice of the customer to the engineering team
  • Perform end-user validation testing of new products and software releases
  • Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to customers
  • Conduct engineering investigations and analyses to resolve technical issues with minimal support
  • Develop and maintain documentation of our systems and processes to ensure continuous improvement over time
  • Maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers, fostering strong, reliable channels of communication

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We seek an individual with:

  • A degree in engineering or a related quantitative field is highly regarded
  • Experience in a Field Service Engineering role, providing technical support directly to customers and managing projects with engineering teams
  • Proficiency in the Linux operating system is essential
  • Experience in testing complex systems
  • Prior experience in telecommunications, radio frequency, or electronic warfare is highly valued
  • Diverse knowledge across various engineering disciplines and history collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts from different backgrounds
