Technical Support Engineer Job
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for owning, investigating, and solving complex customer technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve complex customer technical issues through troubleshooting and collaboration with internal teams.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical support experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Effective interaction with customers to gather information.
- Proven troubleshooting skills.
- Cross-team collaboration.
- Logical and critical thinking.
- Passion for technology and customer support.
Preferred Skills:
- Leadership in handling challenging customer situations.
- Familiarity with packet sniffers like Wireshark.
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux OS, virtualization, VPN, IPsec, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/s, MPLS/BGP.
- Hands-on experience with proxies and firewalls.
- Optional beneficial knowledge: Windows Azure, cloud services, load balancing, geo-redundancy, CDN, VPN technologies.
