Learning and Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Coordinator to coordinate and program manage learning and development initiatives for all employees across our organisation.

This role is responsible for supporting the planning and coordination of the Education Program, delivering courses, programs, workshops, and other educational content to uplift the skills of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate learning and development programs and initiatives
  • Plan and execute events (in-house and external) related to training and culture
  • Manage participant communication, including enrolments, attendance, feedback, and calendar entries
  • Prepare training resources and materials, including tracking and ordering materials as required
  • Manage the learning and development mailbox and serve as the main point of contact for learner enquiries
  • Own the Induction Program and Mandatory Training Program
  • Manage finance and procurement processes for the learning function, including maintaining and submitting Sourcing Records, Contract Records, and Purchase Orders
  • Perform additional administrative tasks, including preparation of the Learning Newsletter and Engagement Surveys
Maintenance and Administration of Our Learning Management System:
  • Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Perform day-to-day administration functions and operational support of our LMS
  • Upload and deploy new course material on the LMS
  • Assess the quality of training and delivery, reporting outcomes and progress to management
  • Coordinate and execute training needs analysis
Develop and Maintain Relationships with External Learning Providers and Vendors:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external training providers to ensure their products and services align with our needs
  • Source external vendors as needed
  • Serve as liaison between vendor/external training providers and line function
Support the Education Program Functions:
  • Business process improvement, including implementing new technologies and processes to enhance the client experience
  • Update business procedures for managing the Education Program
Management Reporting and Analytics:
  • Produce reports as required for internal and external reporting, including Board and Executive Committee updates, Division updates, and Committee updates
  • Maintain client and project-related data
Marketing and Communication:
  • Manage enhancements to our website and other relevant industry connections
  • Coordinate the monthly e-newsletter with the education provider
  • Manage and coordinate activities and enquiries relative to sponsorship engagements and events
Competencies:
  • Technical Competencies: Experience in using learning management systems or equivalent databases; ability to maintain confidentiality; exceptional organisation and time management skills; strong written communication and engagement skills; commitment to delivering exceptional internal and external customer service
  • Behavioural Competencies: Personal drive and integrity; strong interpersonal skills; leadership and management competencies; ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
  • Essential: Qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline; extensive experience deemed to be equivalent
  • Desirable: 3-5 years demonstrated experience in Learning & Development
