We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Product Development Engineer. This exciting opportunity will involve working on development and trial activities related to potential new propellants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and validate propellants using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Interpret customer requirements and provide design solutions that translate system requirements into actionable outcomes.
  • Conduct prototyping, troubleshooting, trials, tests and demonstrations of the product design.
  • Create, interpret and analyse Technical Documents.
  • Identify, assess and manage technical risks and opportunities.
Requirements
  • A strong background in engineering, with experience in design and manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Must be eligible for an Australian defence clearance.
