The role involves overseeing the financial management of commercial, residential, and industrial projects, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and create cash flow statements to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Provide essential input for financial reports to the Management Team, enabling strategic planning and growth.
- Ensure site supervisory staff are aware of project scope, inclusions, and tender packages, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, including pricing schedules, scope of works, comparative analyses, and recommendations to support procurement decisions.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring seamless communication and project success.
- Liaise with clients regarding progress claims to Head Contract, upholding transparency and accountability.
To excel in this position, you will require:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proven local experience as a Contracts Administrator, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
- Previous experience completing multiple projects from start to finish, showcasing your ability to manage complex tasks.
- In-depth understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts.
- Working knowledge of major building trades and construction practices.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience managing projects from a contract perspective, highlighting your ability to navigate intricate details.
