Civil Project Contract Specialist Job Description

Category: Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage civil engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contract execution, managing contractual obligations and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure positive relationships and successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain processes for creating projects, including setting up files and ensuring contracts are signed and stored correctly.
  • Identify and monitor project risks, reporting emerging issues to the Commercial Team.
  • Foster strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a solid understanding of contract management principles to drive success in this role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in contract administration or project management within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Solid understanding of contract law, construction contracts, and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with contract management software and systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
