Seeking a strategic fundraiser to lead philanthropy program, responsible for delivering sustainable income growth from major donors, trusts and foundations, gift in wills, as well as working capital fund.

About the Role
  • Lead cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to secure high-value gifts.
  • Provide leadership and management for Gifts in Wills program.
  • Develop tailored proposals, cases for support, and stewardship materials.
  • Contribute to long-term philanthropic strategy and income growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will be a relationship-driven fundraiser with experience managing major donor relationships and securing significant philanthropic gifts. They will bring strategic thinking, high emotional intelligence, and ability to engage supporters in meaningful conversations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Solicit and steward gifts from major donors, trusts and foundations.
  2. Manage personal portfolio of high-value supporters.
  3. Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve income growth targets.
  4. Represent organization externally, engaging with church and community networks.

Requirements

  • Proven success in major gifts and/or trusts and foundations fundraising.
  • Strong relationship management skills with ability to inspire and influence.
