Philanthropy Program Lead

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced philanthropy program lead to drive the success of our major donor fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sustainable income growth from high-value donors, trusts, and foundations.

This role involves managing a personal portfolio of high-net-worth supporters and providing strategic leadership to strengthen relationships and secure significant gifts. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure high-quality donor experiences that deepen long-term support.

  • Develop and implement effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to secure high-value gifts
  • Provide strategic leadership and line management for the Gifts in Wills program
  • Create compelling proposals, cases for support, and stewardship materials
  • Contribute to long-term philanthropic strategy and income growth initiatives
  • Represent our organization externally, engaging with church and community networks

Key Qualifications:

Proven experience in major gifts and/or trusts and foundations fundraising

Strong relationship management skills with ability to inspire and influence

Experience managing or contributing to a Gifts in Wills program

Ability to conceptualise and create compelling donor materials

Strong financial management, data analysis, and project management skills

Willingness to travel across Australia to meet with donors and church partners
