About the Role:

The Enquiries Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting frontline staff and contributing to the continuous improvement of IDSC, consumer protection services, and risk-based organisational practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Attend to and resolve telephone, written, and online enquiries from consumers, traders, landlords, tenants, and the general public.
  2. Provide expert advice and assistance on legislative matters, including Front Line Compliance Response (FLCR's), over the phone and in writing.
  3. Offer authoritative guidance on regulatory approaches and compliance policies.
  4. Refer complex cases or make appropriate connections within CAV or other Agencies.
  5. Evaluate and process complaints efficiently.
  6. Analyse relevant information to determine potential breaches of legislation.

To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate:

  • Expert knowledge of legislation administered by CAV and understanding of CAV's Regulatory Approach and Compliance Policy.
