
Support Specialist

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for responding to and directing all inbound calls as well as completing online enquiries on behalf of our government client.
You will work with a team to answer inbound phone calls from citizens for non-emergency situations. It's essential to note that whilst you may be exposed to sensitive information, you will not need to handle these call types through to resolution.
You will follow prescribed work instructions and transfer these calls to the most appropriate channel.
You will receive regular check-ins with your supervisor and be provided with resources to seek help and build your own wellbeing plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding and directing all inbound calls, and completing online enquiries on behalf of our government client
- Allocating calls to the most appropriate area or referral based on the callers' need, using the system and work instructions
- Making referrals and transferring callers to the most appropriate service, such as emergency services or support services
- Completing reports in a timely manner

- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to competently navigate software platforms/screens simultaneously
- Strong listening and communication skills, with empathy and understanding
- A calm, resilient composure, even in challenging situations
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, supporting others and upholding professional conduct standards
Requirements:
- Citizenship or an appropriate unrestricted work right
- Willingness to complete pre-employment and security checks, along with computer competency and cognitive assessments
