Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Specialist. This 3-month holiday contract position is available following our successful launch of our first retail location in Australia. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer experiences during the upcoming holiday season.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Representation: Deliver a confident showcase of the Koala brand, communicating its story and values to customers in an engaging way.
- Operational Management: Manage all operational aspects of the pop-up location, including opening and closing processes, stock management, and customer follow-ups.
- Sales and Service: Drive sales for all Koala products, including those not on display, through meaningful interactions with customers.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve the best outcomes for customers and Koala.
- Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional, knock-your-socks-off experiences to customers in a face-to-face retail environment.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain high attention to detail, ensuring the retail space is immaculately presented at all times.
- Adaptability: Adapt to new directions or ideas and proactively solve pain points for the operation or customer experience.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the space is safe for all visitors at all times by following safety guidelines and reporting any issues promptly.
- Manual Handling: Be comfortable with manual handling, assembly of furniture, and demonstrating features.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in a retail or face-to-face customer service environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working part-time hours, have exceptional customer service skills, and be able to engage and energize a room. Empathy is a must-have, as our customers are at the heart of our business.
