Job Summary

Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand Director, leading all aspects of the Human Resources function across Australia and New Zealand.

You will serve as a strategic business partner to the Oceania leadership team while developing and deploying HR strategies that empower teams and support high performance across manufacturing and corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the HR function across Australia and New Zealand, building people strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Team, ensuring HR is a driver of performance and transformation
  • Shape and deploy recruitment, onboarding, and talent development strategies that attract and grow great people
  • Oversee performance management, compensation practices, succession planning, and workforce planning activities
  • Manage key industrial relations processes, including union engagement and labour agreements
  • Embed our desired organisational culture, ethics, diversity, and safety practices at every level
  • Lead change initiatives and support transformation with clear communication and proactive planning
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and group policies
  • Represent the organisation within the global HR community, sharing feedback and enriching group processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or higher qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in HR, with strong leadership exposure and proven business partnering experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing and unionised environment, ideally in a small to medium-sized organisation
  • Demonstrated capability in leading transformation, organisational design, and change management
  • Payroll oversight experience and strong understanding of employment law and industrial relations in Australia and New Zealand
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders while building trust across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Integrity, resilience, and a proactive, people-focused mindset
  • A strong alignment with the organisation's values and belief in our sustainable future
