Formulator and Production Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Production Formulator to join our team at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Laverton North. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in the fabrication of agricultural products while adhering to strict operational protocols within our Quality Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare plant and equipment according to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for formulation.
  • Carry out formulations as per the Job Sheet specifications.
  • Adhere to all general safety directions for the workplace and those outlined in the Job Sheets.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment used in the formulation process are in safe, working order.
  • Perform regular and routine maintenance on equipment when necessary.
  • Identify and address performance issues, conducting investigations, and managing risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient operation of production equipment, including setting up, cleaning, and filling products to the correct weight and specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in machine operation or production.
  • Able to lift 25 kg.
  • Understanding of handling dangerous goods (flammable and poisons).
  • Drive and ability to meet KPI/ targets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace safety.
