We are currently seeking a customer service-oriented individual to work at our client's Geelong site as a Weighbridge Operator. This role reports to the Yard Manager and involves the following key responsibilities:

  • Serving customers in a timely and professional manner upon arrival at the weighbridge
  • Completing EFT transactions and cheque payments in accordance with customer trading terms
  • Maintaining all records in accordance with company and legislative requirements
  • Maintaining an organized office, including filing documents and managing records
  • Providing administrative support to the Yard Manager
  • Demonstrating commitment to OH&S policies

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Proven customer service skills, excellent communication and numeracy skills
  • Strong computer skills, specifically data entry, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to work as part of a small team
  • Friendly telephone manner
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Preferred skills and experience include:

  • Experience in a Weighbridge role or similar position
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP programs
