Job Description

We are seeking experienced professionals with strong recovery or complex motor claims management expertise to join our team.

You will be responsible for identifying and managing recovery opportunities, liaising with stakeholders, handling complex conversations, making financial decisions, and working in a collaborative environment.

This role requires strong people skills, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as experience in recovery, debt management, or claims handling across the banking or finance sector.

You will also need to demonstrate ability to effectively manage priorities and drive own performance, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and flexibility and adaptability with willingness to contribute to continuous improvement, skills development, and change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage diverse motor recoveries, ensuring effective strategies are applied for optimal outcomes.
  • Make and defend indemnity and liability decisions accurately and timely.
  • Maintain high customer service standards for internal and external stakeholders while building strong relationships.
  • Ensure recoveries are managed in line with compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Constructively negotiate to achieve best possible outcomes across all claims.
  • Participate in coaching and training to upskill and build capability within your team.

  • Experience in recovery, debt management, or claims handling across the banking or finance sector (insurance experience desirable).

  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with willingness to contribute to continuous improvement, skills development, and change.
  • Excellent customer service abilities and advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
