Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Motor Claims Professional to join our team. As a key member of our claims function, you will be responsible for managing complex motor claims for vulnerable customers. Your primary focus will be delivering exceptional customer experiences while accurately applying policy interpretation and claims decisioning.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing end-to-end motor claims for high-value and sensitive cases
  • Reviewing each claim for acceptance in line with industry standards and guidelines
  • Supporting customers within policy entitlements, organising repairs, and managing the claims life cycle
  • Identifying potential risks or compliance issues and escalating to management
  • Accurately underwriting claims and making determinations on cover
  • Applying duty of care considerations as part of decision making
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate claim finalisation
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Motor claims experience, preferably in a similar capacity
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on communication and conflict resolution
  • Experience in insurance, with a demonstrated knowledge and application of technical claim management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Broad ability to drive results, focus on outcomes, and develop strong relationships with stakeholders
