Senior Claims Specialist

Brisbane-based law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with 3+ years' experience to join their Motor & Property Recoveries team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a law firm, preferably with experience in motor vehicle and property recovery claims. The role involves handling various aspects of motor and property recoveries, including investigating claims, negotiating settlements, and providing expert advice to clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Investigate motor and property damage claims and provide thorough reports on findings.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties involved.
- Provide expert advice to clients on motor and property recovery options.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless case management and effective communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and legal precedents to enhance expertise and knowledge.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience as an Associate or Senior Associate in a law firm, preferably with a focus on motor vehicle and property recovery claims.
- Proven track record of success in claim investigation and settlement negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and continuous learning.
