About the Role

Futures Engineering is a key enabler of our firm's ability to provide liquidity and execution services for institutional clients worldwide. Our team uses industry-standard and proprietary technologies to build advanced systems for pricing, execution, and control over millions of transactions.

  • Manage technical and operational risks in a fast-paced, multi-asset electronic trading environment
  • Analyze and create sustainable systems and services that meet uptime and performance requirements through automation
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings in support processes and physical environments
  • Collaborate with software and infrastructure owners to resolve hardware/network issues
  • Lead incident and crisis management efforts
  • Foster significant business interactions across Futures front office teams
  • Contribute to system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning initiatives
Requirements
  • 1+ year (Analyst) / 3+ years (Associate) of relevant work experience in technical roles such as software engineering, site reliability engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Demonstrate strong aptitude for algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
  • Showcase experience with Linux operating system internals and/or networking concepts
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify issue scope and impact during high-pressure situations
  • Possess solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively in dynamic environments
