This role places you at the heart of our electronic trading business.

About the Position:

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Global Banking and Markets team as a Production Engineer, Analyst/Associate.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide critical day-to-day production support for massive scale, distributed systems.
  • Ensure thorough response in entire incident response life cycle.
  • Operational risk management of complex, fast-moving, Equities trading business.
  • Proactive management of production services by measuring and monitoring availability, and overall system health.
  • Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, reviewing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
  • Ability to enhance existing or implement production support tooling and release management system.
Key Skills:
  • Solid knowledge and experience in incident management lifecycle.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with outstanding verbal and written communication skills with other groups, technology teams, and business users.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down and communicate complex issues, ideas and provide multiple solutions to a problem.
  • Previous experience of supporting electronic trading environments and/or systematic algo trading is preferred.
  • Proficient in UNIX – in-depth knowledge is a must; Experience supporting applications in a Linux or Unix environment.
  • Proficient in Python is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of working and collaborating with global teams.
