Site Supervisor

As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee the erection of Balance of Plant Mechanical (BoPm) scope for the Snowy project. Your responsibilities include planning and optimizing work scope, analyzing safety and quality risks, communicating work plans with subcontractors, monitoring progress, identifying non-conformities, and providing recommendations for corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare installation work packages.
  • Request material and tooling and ensure availability at the work front.
  • Effectively communicate work plans with subcontractors.
  • Monitor and report progress.
  • Identify potential safety and quality risks; mitigate in planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Previous demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the field of large hydro power projects or in similar industries.
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of balance of plant mechanical systems such as Station Cranes, Water Systems, piping, HVAC, Draft Tube Gates, Water level & flow measuring, Air Systems, Oil Handling System, Fire Protection, HVAC, Workshop Equipment, and fire protection systems.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Work Conditions:

  • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
  • Camp accommodation is provided.
