This project offers a fully funded PhD scholarship at Monash University. The position is ideal for students with a strong academic background in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to conduct research in the intersection of information visualisation, bioinformatics, and the Semantic Web. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record and possess good programming and analytical skills.

The research focus is on investigating novel visualisation techniques for GO-LEGO and its integration with the Systems Biology Graphical Notation (SBGN). This project aims to contribute to the development of new methods for visualising complex biological data.

Applicants should be able to work independently as well as cooperatively with others. The scholarship is tenable for three years, extendable for up to four years, dependent on satisfactory progress and availability of funding.
