We are a leading provider of utilities services, and our Melbourne office is seeking a skilled Metering Operations Coordinator to join our team. The salary for this position is around $70,000 - $90,000 per annum.



Job Description


This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in a dynamic environment. As a Metering Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to triage Work Orders by identifying follow-up tasks to ensure a successful site visit. You will also make phone calls to customers and building managers to arrange access for our meter technicians. Additionally, you may need to obtain technical information from field supervisors about Work Orders to understand the triage action.



Main Responsibilities:



  • Triage Work Orders by identifying follow-up tasks to ensure a successful site visit;
  • Make phone calls to customers and building managers to arrange access for our meter technicians;
  • Obtain technical information from field supervisors about Work Orders to understand the triage action;
  • Accurate data entry in client's systems and Excel sheets;
  • Evaluate all work performed against contractual quality and safety requirements to company standards and customer satisfaction;
  • Perform any other duties as requested by Team Leader/Manager;
  • Maintain strong focus on compliance and problem-solving.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a customer service, administrative, or technical support role is essential;
  • Competencies in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook is mandatory;
  • Basic technical knowledge of electrical metering work is an advantage;
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills;
  • High-level attention to detail.
