About the Role:

  • This role is based in Yarraville, Victoria and is part of the Metering Engineering Team, reporting directly to the Team Leader - Field Services.">
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining NATA accreditation and AEMO compliance for field metering testing activities, ensuring all necessary primary and secondary isolations are carried out correctly.">
  • You'll also conduct on-site diagnostic testing & calibration, installation and commissioning of permanent and portable metering equipment, and prepare technical reports to various accreditation levels as required.">
  • Your key objective will be to ensure accurate and reliable measurement data, contributing to the efficient operation of the high voltage network.">

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular audits and cross-reference checks on field test equipment, ensuring calibration frequency is maintained.">
  2. Plan, prepare and participate in all AEMO audits as required.">
  3. Develop, maintain and expand the testing processes, procedures and methods for the group, ensuring they meet the requirements of various accreditations.">
  4. Collaborate with the Metering Engineering Team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.">
  5. Work closely with the Team Leader to develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.">
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.">

About You:

We're looking for someone with a strong background in electrical engineering, specifically experience in transmission and/or distribution network compliance testing methodologies.

A Bachelor of Engineering or Advanced Diploma of ESI Power Industry is essential, along with current Victorian drivers' licence.

">

Relevant qualifications and/or applied experience in the field of metering services or secondary systems are highly regarded.

">
