We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Laboratory Pathology Assistant to join our team at Employment Office Australia.

As a Laboratory Pathology Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pathology services to our clients. This includes specimen registration, data entry, and processing, as well as unpacking, receipting, and distribution of specimens.

You will work closely with our laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens, and provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specimen registration and data entry
  • Unpacking, receipting, and distribution of specimens
  • Lifting and carrying of eskies
  • Delivery of specimens to laboratory departments
  • Loading of samples onto automated equipment
  • Preanalytical preparation and processing of specimens

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and specimen processing
  • Experience with data entry and laboratory software
