Pathology Collector

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is a leading pathology practice seeking a skilled Pathology Collector to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Services Team, you will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, conducting basic tests, and ensuring accurate sample labeling.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and process patient samples, including blood and non-blood specimens
- Conduct basic tests, such as ECG and Holter Monitoring, as required
- Label and prepare samples for transportation to the laboratory
- Provide guidance and support to patients and caregivers on sampling procedures
- Passion for healthcare and commitment to providing excellent patient care and service
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia and commitment to annual influenza vaccination
