Job Opportunity: Level 1 Help Desk Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused professional to join our IT support team as a Level 1 Help Desk Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to Windows-based IT systems, hardware, and software. Key responsibilities include installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Windows-based systems, taking service desk calls from clients, assisting and supporting the help desk team, and communicating effectively with customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and advice to customers across a range of clients.
  • Efficiently communicate with all stakeholders on projects and support requests.
  • Face to face and remote troubleshooting and resolving incidents within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our services.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Desktop support experience preferred.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Desire to learn and develop.
