Physiotherapist - Community Based

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Northcott, a leading not-for-profit disability service provider. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based therapy to children and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to children and their families, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of children's physical abilities and develop tailored treatment plans to address their needs.
- Provide education and support to children and their families on physical activity, exercise, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and professional registration with AHPRA.
- Experience delivering evidence-based therapy to a paediatric caseload.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and administrative responsibilities in an autonomous, efficient, and effective manner.
- An understanding of the NDIS framework and working within a fee-for-service model is desired.
- Be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills – written, oral, and listening.
- Be computer literate and familiar with using customer record systems.
- Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Must have a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Access to use of own vehicle, if pool car not available (KM reimbursement available).
