About the Role

As a strategic IT service excellence leader, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of best practices in IT service management. Your goal will be to enhance the maturity of our IT service management processes and ensure seamless delivery of services across the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and implement comprehensive IT service management strategies and plans that align with business objectives.
  • To lead and manage IT service management operations and teams within a large ICT environment.
  • To influence stakeholders and promote a culture of service excellence throughout the organization.
  • To build and lead high-performing teams that can deliver exceptional results.
  • To establish and maintain effective relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • To continuously monitor and improve IT service management processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing IT service management operations and teams within a large ICT environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using ServiceNow as an ITIL role or Admin.
  • ITSM Practitioner, Expert or Master is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within the public sector and large government departments would be advantageous.
  • Able to build and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
