Airport Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Passenger Service Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and guiding special needs customers throughout their journey at the airport, ensuring they arrive safely and on time at their destination.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Passenger Service Officer, you will be the 'face of the company' to clients and passengers, putting their needs at the heart of all required tasks.
- You will be responsible for queue controlling, pushing passengers that require wheelchair assistance in wheelchairs, completing relevant documentation, providing accurate information to passengers, and operating any lifting devices.
- You will also assist passengers with their own personal wheelchairs, provide assistance in maneuvering luggage from the baggage belt onto a trolley, and collect and ensure that relevant equipment are in the required locations and stored effectively.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid driver's license
- Experience working with special needs or reduced mobility persons (desirable)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines
- Calm under pressure and able to work well in a team environment
