Sydney Sofitel Wentworth, a premier hotel in one of Australia's iconic hotels, is seeking a highly skilled In-Room Dining Team Leader to join its Food and Beverage team. As part of a multi-million dollar renovation, the hotel is partnering with House Made Hospitality to provide an unparalleled dining experience for guests.

About the Job:

The In-Room Dining Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating and managing the in-room dining service, ensuring maximum profitability and customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Director of Restaurants and Bars, this key role involves:

  • Effective management of In-Room Dining operations in conjunction with the Restaurant Leader.
  • Maintaining currency of RSA certification and adhering to relevant policies.
  • Assisting in reaching financial goals for the Food and Beverage department.
  • Creating a positive guest experience by delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations.
  • Preparing weekly rosters and monitoring labour costs within budget.
  • Implementing new company policies and procedures, delegating responsibilities to staff, and providing coaching and feedback.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum (estimated), depending on experience.
