Job Title

As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing outbound orders and preparing freight for transport. Your tasks will include creating daily schedules for drivers, scanning and dispatching freight, and collaborating with management to modify routes based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently
  • Prepare consignment notes using computer and manual systems
  • Lodge and collect freight at terminals, load and unload delivery vehicles, and complete deliveries as required
  • Monitor driver logs for errors and violations
Qualifications
  • Hold 2-3 years of warehousing experience
  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to lift heavy loads and possess a current forklift license or willingness to obtain one
  • Hold Certificate I-II in Warehousing & Distribution and/or have experience in 3PL warehouse and freight forwarding (highly regarded)
Requirements
  • Must pass a National Police Check
  • Be able to handle working in a fast-paced environment
