Job Title: Scheduling and Freight Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our logistics team as a Scheduling and Freight Coordinator. This challenging role involves coordinating daily schedules for drivers, preparing freight for transport, and processing outbound orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Freight Coordination: Scanning and dispatching freight, stacking and wrapping pallets, and performing other warehouse duties.
- Documentation: Creating air and road consignment notes, lodging and collecting freight at air and sea terminals, and loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Driver Management: Collaborating with management to modify routes based on customer needs, preparing daily work schedules, and notifying drivers of road hazards.
- Quality Control: Monitoring driver logs for errors, violations, and working hours, and processing export and import shipments.
- Experience: 2-3 years of warehousing experience and customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Current forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and possess strong planning and organizational skills.
- Desirable Qualifications: Experience with dispatch software and warehousing & distribution or freight forwarding.
